Indications for use

This device is intended to be used in endoscopic operation. Probe to cut the bile duct during the surgical procedures.

Contraindications for use

The instrument is not intended for use when endoscopic techniques are contraindicated.

Product Description

Working parameter:φ 5×330mm; φ 10×330mm;

Bile duct knife is made of stainless steel, which is reusable and delivered unsterilized. The knife stays in the shaft when we deliver the instrument. There are two buttons on the instrument. Press the push button on the end of shaft, the knife may appear at the working-end, and press the button on the handle, the knife may withdraw to the shaft

Instructions for Use

1. Ensure the instrument has been cleaned and sterilized before the operation.

2. Make sure the knife tip stay in the shaft before inserting into the trocar cannula.

3. Insert the instrument through suitable trocar cannula and ensure the working-end under full and unobstructed visualization.

4. Press the push button at the end of the shaft, then the knife may appear on the working-end.

5. Cut the bile duct as correct surgical techniques.

6. Press the button on the handle to withdraw the knife, then take out the instrument.

Clean, Disinfection and Sterilization

Clean: We recommend using the ultrasonic cleaning method.

Disinfection: It is recommended to be disinfected by 2% alkaline glutaraldehyde. Please follow the instruction of disinfectant manufacturer.

Sterilization: We recommend using the moist heat. the sterilization parameter listed below:

Storage

Stored in controlled environment, which is kept away from the sun, rats, fire, insects and caustic gas, as well as with good ventilation.

Storage temperature range: -20℃～50℃, relative humidity range: 10%～80%.
